Once Human Story Plot
In the post-apocalyptic world depicted in Once Human, human society has been overrun by an extraterrestrial force known as Stardust. Deviations are dreadful and dangerous creatures that have evolved from what were once humans, animals, and plants. Human survivors have formed factions as a result of Deviations being out and about. These factions range from worthless allies to outright villains to outright madmen.
You take on the role of a Meta-Human who awakens in the middle of nowhere, starving, and surrounded by horrifying Deviations. You can use Stardust’s power and survive the contamination if you’re a Meta-Human. Deviations could still tear you to pieces, and other survivors could shoot you to death, so you’re not completely unbeatable.
Learn the history of Stardust, its purpose, and the truth about it. You are the last hope for humanity. It is completely up to you how you carry out your mission. You could either go to human settlements, learn about them, and engage in combat with them, or you could defeat Deviations alone and become an unheralded hero without a name to claim.
Once Human Gameplay
Crafting and base-building are features of the third-person survival-shooter game Once Human. Along the way, you’ll run into hostile survivors and various kinds of Deviations. While some deviations resemble mutated trees, others resemble eerie mutant spiders. Take them out with roughly 100 different firearms, each of which can be customized with various accessories and benefits. Find blueprints to uncover and unlock new items, enabling you to gather and create new weapons for self-defense.
Stardust has corrupted more than just living things. It also includes water and soil. Eating and drinking contaminated food and beverages will make you less sane, which will lower your maximum HP. Will you take the chance and eat or drink, or will you suppress your hunger to keep from going insane? You have a choice. Trees could be felled, ores could be mined, and other resources could be collected for building, tools, or equipment. Create your territory as you see fit. There will be standard base-building components in the game. The ability to move your territory whenever you want is a cool feature of this game, though.
